Worth a Visit

Welcoming little 18th-c village pub under newish management; L-shaped room with painted beams and hefty flagstones, comfortable seats by woodburner in large stone fireplace, country-style tables and chairs, enjoyable fairly traditional food including stone-baked pizzas, three west country ales tapped from the cask; children, walkers and dogs welcome, tables on pretty front terrace, good surrounding walks, open all day weekends, closed Mon lunchtime
