Civilised dining pub (sister to the Barbury in Broad Hinton); three neat small rooms, beams, old settles and unvarnished wooden tables on flagstones, sporting prints and church candles, large fireplace in central bar, woodburner in restaurant, ales such as St Austell and Butcombe, 40 wines by the glass, 35 gins and several malt whiskies, well liked food from sharing boards up; children and dogs welcome, hitching rail for horses, picnic-sets and play area in two-acre garden, suntrap terrace, closed Sun evening

This award-winning Free House offers high standards of excellence in food and attention to detail whilst always preserving the traditional pub atmosphere.There is a relaxed convivial atmosphere - customers are welcome in Black Tie and Jimmy Choos or in wellies, on horseback or on a Bicycle! 4 legged friends are also encouraged!We are passionate about food and wine at The Vine Tree and our frequently changing our menus based on seasonal and sustainable produce which is delivered fresh on a daily basis, including fish and seafood from Cornwall and Brixham. We strongly believe in the virtues of using local suppliers and closely follow the seasons. Game is often shot on Badminton and local estates.
