I lucky enough to live in the beautiful village of Braughing which is home to this lovely village pub. The landlord and Landlady (Pete & Jess) are both friendly and the pub has a wide variety of food which is updated on a regular basis. I've never experienced a bad meal during the entire time the pub has been owned by Pete & Jess, and the staff are also a credit to the pub. The pub has regular events such as tapas, a quiz evening, and a curry night. There are also annual events such as a beer festival, live music when the Braughing wheelbarrow race is on, fireworks in November and on new years eve. The pub has a good selection of well kept beers, as well as a huge selection of wines, etc. I would highly recommend a visit to the village which is surrounded by countryside with many local walks, and a visit to the Golden Fleece for lunch or an evening meal.
