Charming small hotel in prime spot by yacht-filled harbour; cheerful bar with brown leather wall banquettes and assortment of tables and chairs on bare boards, a stuffed albatross (reputed to have collided with a ship belonging to owner's great-grandfather), stools by zinc-topped counter serving ales such as Mantle and Purple Moose, local cider and 17 good wines by the glass, dining room has blue leather chairs, sea-blue walls and seaside-inspired art, much enjoyed food including local fish/seafood, friendly efficient staff; children welcome, disabled access, comfortable bedrooms (most overlook the harbour), good breakfast, open all day from 8am
