Updated brick and stone village pub under same ownership as nearby Congham Hall Hotel; pleasant pastel décor with simple wood furniture, stone-floor bar and split-level part-carpeted restaurant, woodburner in each, popular home-made food including good steaks from reasonably priced blackboard menu, OAP set lunch Mon-Fri, Greene King IPA and a couple of guests, friendly helpful staff; children and dogs (in bar) welcome, tables out at front, open all day, food all day weekends
