Attractive beamed pub with four cosy rooms; flagstoned bar with woodburner in big inglenook, three real ales such as Grainstore, Great Oakley and Merrimen, enjoyable reasonably priced pubby food (not Mon), friendly relaxed atmosphere, barn-conversion restaurant at back; table skittles, darts; children and dogs welcome, popular with walkers, terrace seating, open all day Sat, till 9pm Sun, from 2.30pm other days (4pm Mon)
