Worth a Visit

Welcoming pub with several beamed rooms around central bar; masses of interesting Dambusters and other RAF memorabilia, generous helpings of reasonably priced straightforward food (not Sun evening) from shortish menu, also home-made chutneys, pâté and biscuits for sale, six interesting ales including own microbrews (ceiling covered in beer mats), short list of well chosen wines, pews and chairs around tables on wood floor, log fire in big two-way brick fireplace, more formal seating at back; children and dogs welcome (their black labrador is Bomber), very near Red Arrows runway viewpoint, closed Mon, otherwise open all day (till 7.30pm Sun)
