Following extensive refurbishment, The White Horse in Whepstead, near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk opened on 29th October 2009 by new owners Gary and Di Kingshott well known for running the award-winning, Beehive Pub in Horringer for the last 25 years. Built in the 17th Century, with later Victorian additions, this country pub offers a series of cosy rooms where the walls are adorned with curious objects and art, some especially commissioned, a large spacious copper topped bar, an open fire and comfortable wooden tables and chairs. The bar stocks a good wine list, with many by the glass, and well kept Suffolk Ale.Children and dogs welcome.
