Traditional rambling pub, welcoming and relaxed, with well kept Greene King ales, up to six guests and local cider, generous helpings of good reasonably priced pubby food including Tues pie night, cheerful efficient staff, dining room with woodburner; children allowed, dogs in outside bar/games room, picnic-sets out at front and in pleasant garden, good walks, open all day weekends, no food Sun evening
