Welcoming immaculately kept stone-built dales pub; bar, log-fire restaurant and garden room, very good home-made food from pub staples up including set deal (Mon-Sat till 6pm) and Thurs steak night, four local ales such as Black Sheep and Copper Dragon and 14 wines by the glass, friendly efficient staff; Mon quiz and monthly open mike night; children and dogs (in bar) welcome, attractive back garden with smokers' shelter, picturesque valley, six bedrooms, open (and food) all day
