Community local in pretty Cotswold village; cosy and comfortable, with stripped stone, low beams and log fires, friendly helpful landlord and staff, good fairly priced food in bar and restaurant from changing menu including daily specials, three well kept beers, a dozen wines by the glass and interesting range of gins; quiz first Thurs of month; dogs welcome (their border collies are Denzil and Doris), picnic-sets out in front, three bedrooms, closed Mon and Tues lunchtimes, no evening food Sun-Tues
