Unpretentious little two-room roadside pub, well kept ales such as Blue Monkey, Buxton, Dancing Duck and Sharps, generous helpings of good value straightforward food (not weekend evenings or Mon), welcoming staff and friendly regulars, two woodburners; maybe Sun folk night, free wi-fi; children and dogs welcome, great views and walks, handy for National Tramway Museum, open all day weekends, closed weekday lunchtimes

Traditional real ale pub offering wide range of local and countrywide ales. Very friendly atmosphere with lovely locals and open fire. Quality home made food with real chips. Open 7 days a week with food being served Tuesday to Sunday. New Landlord and Landlady took over the pub on 1 July 2011. Dog friendly in all rooms. Two minute walk from Crich Tramway Museum.
