Fairly traditionally updated canalside pub with open-plan split-level interior (raised part mainly for dining); dark wood furniture on pale stone or stripped boards, woodburner in brick fireplace, brewery mirrors and advertising signs, bottles and jugs on delft shelf, a house beer from Nethergate, three guest ales and several craft beers, popular reasonably priced pubby food (not Sun evening), friendly staff; children and dogs (in bar) welcome, waterside picnic-sets under pergola, garden behind with play area, moorings, open all day (till 8pm Sun)
