Friendly place with six well kept ales including Theakstons and local brews such as Settle and Three Peaks, reasonably priced traditional food from sandwiches up including some evening deals, pubby furniture on carpet, woodburner in impressive stone fireplace, parquet-floored games area with pool and darts; live music, quiz first Mon of the month; children and dogs welcome, picnic-sets in two-level back garden, open (and food) all day
