Worth a Visit

Appealing and quirky 17th-c beamed pub; well kept Abbey Bellringer, Butcombe and a local guest, nice wines by the glass, snacky food such as home-made pork pies and scotch eggs, also popular Sun roasts (must book), good friendly service, more space in small upstairs room; children welcome till 7pm, dogs in bar (not after 8pm Fri, Sat), part-covered beer garden, open all day Fri-Sun, closed other days till 4.30pm
