Welcoming traditional country pub with opened-up low-beamed bar; stripped-stone walls, log fire and woodburner, some interesting old photographs, Wye Valley Butty Bach, HPA and a guest, several ciders and decent wines, ample helpings of enjoyable reasonably priced food using local/home-grown produce including good vegetarian choice, friendly staff; Weds folk night, quiz Thurs; children and dogs welcome, seats out in front and to the side, popular with walkers and handy for Miserden Park, open (and food) all day
