Extended old inn in beautiful setting overlooking splendid sandy bay (fine sunsets); much enjoyed food from shortish fairly priced menu (booking advised), up to four rotating Cornish ales and good choice of other drinks, efficient friendly service; background, occasional quiz nights in winter, pool and darts; children welcome, dogs in bar, picnic-sets on side terrace, lovely cliff walks, roomy bedrooms and a self-catering lodge, open all day.
