Handsome 16th-c inn with beamed and stripped-stone bar, nice food from sandwiches to steaks, some good curries too from Sri Lankan chef (curry night last Thurs of month), well kept Hook Norton, local guests and good choice of wines by the glass, friendly efficient staff, coffee bar (from 9am), conservatory and separate restaurant; lunchtime jazz first Sun of month; children and dogs welcome, sunny courtyard tables, 28 well appointed bedrooms, good breakfast, open all day.

Licensee Introduction

A traditional Inn at the centre of Chipping Campden, with coffee shop, restaurant, conservatory, 27 bedrooms, car park and of course pub. We serve local real ales as well as lager and stout. In the summer there is a lovely terrace for outdoor dining and in the winter there are log fires.

Our Food

Coffee shop serving sweet and savoury snacks all day. Lunch 12-3 (maybe longer hours in the summer) Sandwiches, salads, etc Dinner 6-9pm Salada, British pub food, Curry. Sri Lankan head chef (UK Curr Chef of the year 3 times)
