The good pub guide review
Friendly 17th-c pub with light and airy knocked-through bars; beams, stripped stone and oak floors, inglenook log fires, decent sensibly priced pubby food, three well kept constantly changing ales, decent range of wines and 28 gins, evening restaurant, skittle alley; children and dogs welcome, disabled access, attractive sloping front garden and big back one, good walks nearby, six bedrooms in separate buildings behind, closed Sun evening and lunchtimes Mon-Fri, best to check winter hours.
