Warwicks

The good pub guide review

Pretty 17th-c wisteria-clad pub under enthusiastic welcoming management; softly lit beamed bar with friendly locals, good log fire in stone fireplace, settles and mix of other old furniture, horsebrasses and assorted memorabilia, a couple of well kept ales such as Hancocks and Otter, decent wines by the glass and good quality food cooked by landlady including daily specials, cosy little dining room; occasional live music; children welcome, dogs in bar, seats on front terrace and in neat garden, lovely countryside and surrounding walks.
