Beautifully preserved 16th-c building with bar and restaurant; very good locally sourced home-made food from daily changing menu with some emphasis on fish/seafood (Sun booking essential), friendly attentive service, a beer or two from nearby breweries, black beams and rafters, mixed furniture on flagstones or carpet, log fires; children welcome, dogs in garden only, closed Sun evening, Mon, Tues.
