Licensee Introduction

Family-run pub & restaurant set in a quiet, wonderful North Norfolk village 3 miles inland from the popular seaside town of Cromer. Offering a range of real ales, lagers, bottles, spirits, and wine. Excellent home-cooked food, created with the freshest of ingredients by our dedicated and talented chefs. Whilst our steaks and fish are some of the best in Norfolk we also offer a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Our excellent staff continually receive great reviews and rightly so as they offer superb service being attentive yet unintrusive. Recent changes include our new spectacular garden which diners and drinkers love in equal measure and we are always making those other small positive changes which matter so much. Hope to see you very soon. Sarah & Jason x

Our Food

Our commitment to food quality is reflected in the reviews we receive time and time again. Head chef, Shane Falconer instils in his kitchen team his vision and desire to present dishes that consistently set the highest of standards. Shane's commitment to fresh, locally sourced produce and ingredients is testimony to the way he continues to shape the menu, changing and flowing with the seasons and always looking for those local delights. Between Shane, Sarah and Jason we have forged relationships with Cromer's fishermen, North Norfolk gamekeepers, farmers and producers to bring our customers the unique and beguiling taste of our wonderful region. For many years we've also made a commitment to vegetarian and vegan customers and have a wide a varied selection of dishes, not your standard nut roast and veg soup here. At The Foundry our restaurant always carries a mix of locals and visitors and throngs to the sound of talking, debate and laughter, perfect for families and couples alike.
