Cosy and gently civilised 18th-c inn; log fires in two bars, exposed stonework, bare boards or carpeting, built-in wall seating, wooden dining chairs and stools against counter serving a couple of Fallen ales (one brewed for the pub), a guest beer, 20 malt whiskies and a dozen wines by the glass, very good food (all day weekends, Sun roasts), including lighter lunch menu, friendly staff; background music, occasional folk nights; children (till 9pm) and dogs welcome, tables in garden looking across to the Ochil Hills, play area, three comfortable bedrooms, generous breakfast, open all day Fri-Sun.
