The Stanhope Arms
The Stanhope Arms
The good pub guide review
Welcoming old red-brick village pub next to the church; four real ales including Greene King and Black Sheep and well liked pubby food (not Sun evening, Mon, limited choice Tues), good service, cosy traditional bar with darts, bright cheerful restaurant with white tablecloths and napkins; children and dogs welcome (resident labradors), summer barbecues and bat and trap in back garden, open all day.
