Busy Peach group pub with cheerful small bar, leather tub chairs and built-in sofa, slate-floored drinking area, ales including Greene King and Surrey Hills, a proper cider and ten wines by the glass, generally well liked food from deli boards up including weekday set menu, two dining rooms (open fires) and sizeable restaurant with pale tables on wood floor, modern flowery wallpaper and big windows overlooking the street; background music, board games; children and dogs (in bar) welcome, seats out at front and in terraced back garden, ten well equipped bedrooms, open (and food) all day from 7am (8am weekends) for breakfast.
