Cherry Tree

The good pub guide review

Sympathetically updated 18th-c pub-restaurant (originally three cottages); enjoyable often interesting food from sharing plates to daily specials, Brakspears ales, good range of wines by the glass and more than 100 gins including local ones, helpful friendly staff, small linked rooms mainly set for dining, heavy low beams, stripped boards and flagstones; background music, TV in bar; well behaved children and dogs welcome, lots of tables in attractive garden, nearby walks, four good bedrooms in converted barn, open all day, no food Sun evening.
