Civilised thatched restauranty pub with small bar; very good imaginative food (must book) from regularly changing menu including several fish/seafood dishes, cottagey beamed linked areas and stylishly simple country décor, a well kept ale from Langton (brewed in the village) and well chosen wines by the glass, friendly licensees and efficient service; no under-12s or dogs, picnic-sets in back garden with country views, closed Sun evening, Mon and weekday lunchtimes.
