Gloriously old-fashioned with hatch-served side room opening off small plain parlour and public bar, plenty of dark brown woodwork, big windows, settles and other antique furniture on bare floors, gas fire, old local pictures, china, pewter and curios, four well kept local ales such as Hobsons and Ludlow, Weston's cider, generous helpings of enjoyable home-made food (Thurs-Sun), friendly atmosphere; children and dogs welcome, little yard at back, open all day weekends, closed weekday lunchtimes.
