Chatty 17th-c white weatherboarded village local; two separate bars and dining area, inglenook fireplace, well kept Courage, Harveys and a couple of guests, reasonably priced food from lunchtime sandwiches up, evening meals Thurs-Sat only; live music including jazz and open mike nights, quiz Tues, sports TV; children welcome, picnic-sets among flowers out in front, open all day.
