Nobody Inn

The good pub guide review

Atmospheric old country inn, same owners as the Spoken in Exmouth; beamed lounge with handsomely carved antique settles, windsor and wheelback chairs around all sorts of wooden tables, guns and hunting prints in snug area by one of the big inglenooks, a beer named for the pub from Branscombe Vale and a couple of guests, three real ales, 150 wines by the bottle and around 270 malt whiskies, good food from shortish changing menu, friendly service, more formal restaurant; children welcome away from main bar (no under-5s in restaurant), dogs allowed in bar, pretty garden with rural views, local church worth a visit for its fine medieval stained glass, bedrooms, open all day.
