The good pub guide review
Successful newish management for this Victorian pub built on remains of an ancient corn mill; coal fire in opened-up bar, woodburner in connecting dining area, stairs to lower level containing mill machinery (there's also a 17th-c blast furnace), up to five well kept mainly local ales such as Salopian and Three Tuns, enjoyable pub food with a twist including pizzas and steaks, friendly helpful staff; background music, sports TV, pool; children and dogs welcome, good walks nearby, open all day, no food Sun evening.
