Popular dining pub in same small group (Three Cheers Pub Co) as the Latchmere in Battersea; split-level interior including small mezzanine, bare boards, half-panelling and open fire, mix of old furniture, vintage prints and a stag's head; good food from short but varied menu, beers such as Meantime and Timothy Taylors, plenty of wines by the glass, cocktails; efficient friendly service; children and dogs welcome, pavement tables, open all day, food all day weekends.
