Bulls Head

The good pub guide review

Comfortably old-fashioned village pub based around 1540s timbered hall-house; enjoyable good value pubby food (not Sun evening) including proper home-made pies, friendly helpful staff, Youngs, Hogs Back and Surrey Hills ales, small lantern-lit beamed front bar with open fire, some stripped brickwork, old local prints and bric-a-brac, simple raised back inglenook dining area, games room (darts and pool); children and dogs welcome, disabled access from car park, play area in neat little garden, close to fire-gutted Clandon Park (NT) and nice walks, open all day, closed Sun evening.
