Busy bare-boards bar just off Trafalgar Square with snug cubicles and plenty of standing room (can get packed early evening), lots of theatre memorabilia on stairs up to more comfortable split-level lounge with opera photographs (the Coliseum is almost next door), low wooden tables, panelling, leather sofas and stained-glass windows; well kept/priced Sam Smiths beers and decent good value pub food; background music and games machines; children upstairs till 9pm, open all day from 9am (for breakfast).
