Beamed and timbered 15th-c pub in peaceful village surrounded by lovely rolling countryside; traditional flagstoned public bar with inglenook woodburner, larger carpeted lounge with fragment of 17th-c wallpaper and set of fine old beer pumps, six well kept Three Tuns beers and good reasonably priced home-made food from varied menu, friendly helpful staff; children (in lounge), walkers and dogs (in bar) welcome, paved back courtyard, three bedrooms (one in converted outbuilding), open all day, no food Sun evening.
