Simple 18th-c tile-hung village local; two well kept ales, Black Sheep and Harveys, plus two guests such as Fuller's, Tonbridge and Woodforde's (Easter weekend beer festival), Weston's and Thatcher's ciders, good home-made food (not Sun evening, Mon, Tues), friendly welcoming atmosphere, beamed interior with propeller from German bomber above fireplace; regular live music and other events, sports TV, Kentish darts; children and dogs welcome, closed Mon and Tues lunchtimes till 3pm, otherwise open all day.
