Traditional bare-boards pub with 15 handpumps plus ciders/perries from long counter, plenty in bottles too, simple food including good home-made pies, pizzas and burgers served all day (till 9.30pm Sun); friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere, walls and ceilings covered in beer mats and pump clips, open fire; background music from vinyl collection, some live acoustic music, Weds quiz; large back garden with boules, open all day.
