Nicely refurbished Georgian country inn/restaurant, small log-fire bar, two dining rooms with mix of furniture on wood floors, some striking paintings on the walls, smallish menu but with good imaginative well presented food using seasonal local produce, several changing ales, friendly efficient staff; large seating area outside, eight bedrooms, open all day (food all day Sat), until 9pm Sun.
