Rhyd Ddu overlooks the sparkling clear waters of Llyn y Gadair, Llyn Cwellyn and the majestic western slopes of Mt. There are also several mountain and forestry walks, for all levels, including low level walks within easy reach, see 'Local walks'.

The village boasts magnificent uninterrupted views towards Mt. Snowdon and is situated right at the start of the Nantlle Ridge and Mynydd Mawr, popular havens for the hillwalkers of Snowdonia.

We are ideally situated for exploring the whole of Snowdonia and North Wales.
