Busy dining pub in lovely conservation village near Cawdor Castle; well kept Orkney ales, plenty of wines by the glass (comprehensive list) and good range of malt whiskies, freshly cooked food from traditional choices up, friendly staff, oak-panelled lounge with log fire, pool in public bar, restaurant; children and dogs (in bar) welcome, seats on front terrace, open (and food) all day in summer, closed 3-5pm Mon-Fri in winter.
