Friendly 19th-c local owned by British motorcycle racer/presenter Guy Martin and his sister; enjoyable good value home-made food (all day Sun) from sandwiches to blackboard specials, three well kept ales including a house beer from Batemans and Sharps Doom Bar, newly refurbished with wooden flooring and log fire, flying and racing memorabilia, snug, dining conservatory; live music (usually last Sat of month), darts; children welcome, picnic-sets on side lawn, no food weekday lunchtimes, open all day.
