Old brick and flint country pub saved from closure by the local community; enjoyable reasonably priced pubby food (not Sun evening, Mon) from sandwiches to good Sun roasts (unlimited veg), local ales (brewed in the village) and a couple of guests, friendly accommodating staff; live music and quiz nights, darts; children, muddy boots and paws welcome, tables on sheltered lawn and terrace, two bedrooms, open all day weekends, closed Mon lunchtime.

The Ibex Inn is a cosy 18th century Gastro pub that is absolutely oozing with character, this beautiful and historic public house is situated in the tranquil countryside of Chaddleworth village, a convenient 12-minute drive from Newbury and 14 mins from the M4. The Ibex has been recognised for winning awards including West Berkshire CAMRA Community pub. This incredible establishment is home to 2 luxurious en-suite guest rooms in our B&B, complete with an extremely comfortable, king size, award winning Emma Hybrid mattress finished with all anti-allergenic bedding for extra comfort and care
