Angel on the Bridge

The good pub guide review

17th-c and worth knowing for its prime Thames-side position (packed during the regatta); small front bar with log fire, downstairs back bar and adjacent restaurant, beams, uneven floors and dim lighting, Brakspears ales and maybe a guest such as Ringwood, good choice of wines by the glass, enjoyable food from sandwiches and pubby choices up, cheerful efficient service; tables under parasols on popular waterside deck with own bar (plastic glasses here), moorings for two boats, open all day at least in summer.
