The good pub guide review
Bustling old pub between Kensington Gardens and Holland Park; crammed with bric-a-brac: countless lamps, miners' lights, horse tack, bedpans and brasses hanging from ceiling, prints of US presidents and lots of Churchill memorabilia, a couple of interesting carved figures and statuettes behind central counter, five well kept Fullers ales, 18 wines by the glass and good value Thai food, spacious rather smart plant-filled dining conservatory; children and dogs welcome, some chrome tables and chairs outside, stunning display of window boxes and hanging baskets, open (and food) all day.
