Anglesea Arms

The good pub guide review

Very busy 19th-c South Kensington pub, well run and friendly, with mix of old tables and chairs on wood-strip floor, panelling and heavy portraits, large brass chandeliers hanging from dark ceiling, several booths at one end with partly glazed screens, Greene King Abbott, IPA and four guests, some 20 wines by the glass and good range of malt whiskies, well liked food from sharing plates up; steps down to dining room; children welcome, dogs in bar, picnic-sets on raised front terrace, open all day.
