Popular and friendly little two-room character pub; half a dozen well kept ales including Ludlow and tasty good value traditional food (no credit cards ' ATM opposite), good cheerful service, two coal fires, beams and stripped woodwork, original dark high-backed settles and round copper-topped tables on bare boards, old local prints and posters, bottle collection, shelves of books in snug; live music Sun afternoon, occasional quiz nights; dogs welcome, open all day, no food Sun evening.
