Olde Mitre

The good pub guide review

Small early 17th-c local (remains of a famous coaching inn); bay windows in low-beamed panelled front bar, back area on two slightly different levels, some bare boards and lots of dark wood, open fires, good choice of well kept ales including Adnams Southwold, Greene King Abbot and Timothy Taylors Landlord plus four changing, craft beers and decent wines, enjoyable pubby food, friendly service; Sun live music, sports TV, board games; children and dogs welcome, nice heated courtyard garden behind, open all day (till 1am Fri, Sat).
