The good pub guide review

Tucked-away stone-built pub in great walking country on the Calderdale Way and near Stoodley Pike; open-plan bar to the left, restaurant on right, three well kept Lees ales and guest, 11 wines by the glass, very good food from daily changing menu cooked by chef-owner, friendly staff; children, dogs (in bar) and walkers welcome, a few seats out at front, picturesque setting close to stream and Victorian church, open (and food) all day, Sun till 10pm (6pm).
