Popular 18th-c brick-built village pub; high-backed settles in simple panelled bar, cosy comfortable beamed lounge, well kept Marstons Pedigree and three guests, 30 or so gins, no food except cobs, pleasant friendly atmosphere; background music; children welcome till 7.30pm, dogs in bar, picnic-sets on sheltered back lawn, closed lunchtimes apart from Sun.
