The good pub guide review
Small flagstoned cellar bar down steep steps; brick and flint walls, dim lighting, woodburner, its own Blakes Bitter from Dartford Wobbler Brewery plus Adnams Broadside and two changing guests, farm ciders/perries, several wines by the glass and over 50 malt whiskies, good bar food from sandwiches up, panelled carpeted upstairs restaurant, friendly staff; well behaved children welcome, dogs in bar, side garden and suntrap back terrace, four bedrooms, open (and food) all day.
